摘要

A computational framework is presented for constructing wing representations of general 3-D rigid objects based on wing representation theory and the multiple-view paradigm. Preliminary results indicate that wing representation of objects rates reasonably well with respect to properties of locality, stability, and uniqueness; has a problem with verbosity; and ideally should possess computability. It is shown how the verbosity problem can be alleviated by using maps with lower resolutions, viewspheres with fewer viewpoints, and the hierarchic properties of both viewsphere and wing sets.
