摘要

The purpose of this study was to examine whether quality gaps existed in the e-courseware applying for the e-Learning Courseware Certification (eLCC) in 2005. The divide between the eLCC evaluation and the applicants' self-evaluation of the thirty-seven e-courseware cases were analyzed by means of paired t-tests. The results revealed that both the high-performers and the low-performers of the eLCC cases over-estimated their own e-courseware quality with comparison to the eLCC evaluation. Although the divide between the low-performers' self-evaluation and the eLCC evaluation was wider than that between the high-performers and the eLCC, the low-performers self-evaluated their own e-courseware quality as high as the high-performers did. Further research is suggested to examine the causes of the quality divide in depth.
