摘要

When readers decide to look up words, when do they perform the action of dictionary consultation? The goal of this study was to investigate whether EFL readers with low tolerance of ambiguity have higher percentages of consultation immediately when they use computer-mediated dictionaries. Through analyzing look-up patterns from eye-tracking, we found that readers with different ambiguity tolerance levels did perform different look-up patterns, although not significantly.
