Terahertz grating with bound states in the continuum for ultra-high Q-factor performance

摘要

Our research focuses on designing a suspended grating structure using PMMA and ceramic materials to develop a THz resonance modulator with ultra-high-quality factors. By incorporating CNC machining for digital manufacturing, we have improved production precision and efficiency. This design enables customizable dimensions and shapes to meet specific requirements, offering greater flexibility in fabrication. This not only deepens our understanding of THz modulator construction but also unlocks new technological opportunities. Such advancements can significantly enhance applications in sensing, wireless communication, and biomedical fields by increasing device adaptability and performance, thus propelling the progress of THz technology.
