摘要
This study investigates the content and design of Tourism Chinese educational materials in Taiwan, identifying critical gaps and opportunities for improvement. The case study involves analysis of current curriculum, existing textbooks, and interviews with material designers. The findings highlight significant challenges in textbook development as well as growing areas. The study has identified distinctive learner profiles. By addressing the diverse learner needs, Tourism Chinese education can enhance both linguistic and cultural competencies, aligning with global trends in sustainable tourism and technological applications. This research underscores the importance of a holistic approach, paving the way for more effective and engaging educational materials that support learners’ professional and personal objectives.
