Support-seeking and support-giving relationships of school technology coordinators

摘要

This study described the general picture of STCs' relationships with regard to support-seeking and support-giving behaviours, to know which relational variables could explain the support-seeking and support-giving behaviours, and to investigate the correspondence of the relationships to positions. The STCs only have small personal relationship networks in their school contexts. They have the tendency to seek work knowledge support from technicians at their school district office and to seek technical knowledge from technicians of their schools. Although the results cannot be generalised to other subpopulations or the population because of the small sample size in this study, it provides some light on the directions of future researches.
