Programming Models with Command-Driven Processing for Embedded Operating Systems

摘要

A programming model with command-driven processing is proposed to perform multiple tasks for embedded operating systems. The proposed system involves a server microcontroller and several client ones. The design of the command format is presented for single chips. The server can operate time-sharing and multi-tasking mechanisms, and the clients are capable of processing commands and handling tasks, which support the input and output functions such as keypad scanning and LCD. Finally, The Atmel 89S52 chips are employed to develop such embedded systems, to see the effectiveness of the proposed method.
