摘要
Abstracts: English: Innovation adoption is a process rather than a single event. The procurement of computers in schools is just the very beginning of adopting computer technologies and does not ensure effective utilization of computers in the classroom. Adoption of computers relies on facilitating effective strategies and interventions. The purpose of this study was to examine the type of innovation-decision (authority-decision vs. optional decision) and type of intervention (concern-based vs. non-concern-based) on arousing educators’ concerns toward the Internet. The results suggested that authority-decision was more effective than optional-decision and concern-based intervention was more effective. Stages of Concern Questionnaires were conducted to assess the arousal of novices’ concerns toward Internet.
