摘要
Lineshape simulation of 13C NMR resonances was employed to characterize the structural development of poly(ethylene terephthalate) (PET) during fiber formation and subsequent processing. In all spectra the carbonyl (CA) and glycoethylene (GE) resonances can be simulated by a two component model. In conjunction with density measurements, the NMR data suggest the presence of at least four morphological components in PET fiber. The relative populations of these components were determined from the intensity changes of the narrow components of respective resonances and the bulk crystallinity.
