N2 - In this chapter, the authors present the experience and response in Taiwan in three parts. In the first section, the authors briefly described the education of children with disabilities in Taiwan and the previously learned lessons in Taiwan’s history of epidemic prevention. Previous experiences served as a critical role for Taiwan to re-equip the public health mechanism and the epidemic prevention system. The authors also discussed epidemic prevention education for all children, including those with learning difficulties. In the second section, the authors described the contingency plan of administration and implementation to the public and people with disabilities in two time periods, before and after the domestic outbreaks. The contingency plan of children with disabilities was also described. In the third section, the authors mentioned the challenges of children with disabilities during the pandemic.
