摘要

The current study extends research on social exchange theory and organizational justice to virtual customer organizations (guilds) in online setting. The authors propose a theoretical model and argue that organizational justice in massively multiplayer online role playing games (MMORPGS) will help foster guild leader-member exchange (LMX) relationships, enhance guild members' identification toward their guilds and the MMORPGs, and subsequently increase guild members' purchase intention of virtual items. The structural equation model was tested with a sample of 321 MMORPG players from Taiwan. Our results supported most predictions and provide new insights for both researchers and practitioners.
