N2 - As the number of advanced learners in Chinese gradually increases, teaching and learning Chinese for Specific Purposes (CSP) has become more popular worldwide. This chapter proposes to adopt the case of a famous original bubble milk teahouse – the Chun Shui Tang of Taiwan as an example to design a course for teaching and learning Business Chinese in Marketing. The authors demonstrate how to use Content-Based Instruction (CBI) approach to integrate both language study and the learning of business content. The rationale for the teaching design is detailed, mapping out a five-session course, which includes a Do-It-Yourself experience in the actual workplace. The course design aims to endorse purposeful language study that combines industry information and marketing concepts. This combination of theory and practice will be a helpful reference for the design of the Marketing Chinese curriculum.
