摘要
A fast statistical time-division packet multiplexor (MUX) is constructed based on the Cascaded Optical Delay (COD) architecture. In order to facilitate its design, simulations are performed which include the effects of optical power loss and finite electronic switching time. Preliminary results indicate the performance of the switch at the frequency range 66-100 MHz to approach that of the COD under the assumption of infinitely fast electronics.
