摘要

The Asian-South Pacific Association of Sport Psychology (ASPASP) is the only association established to broaden the field of sport and exercise psychology in the Asian-South Pacific region while establishing partnerships and free exchange of knowledge among scholars from the professional community. The current position stand addresses the ASPASP's strategic plans to encourage research, practice, and development in the field of sport and exercise psychology across the Asian-South Pacific region. ASPASP's strategy comprises of concrete and significant action plans including strengthening membership, launching the mentoring program, developing a sport psychology certification program, promoting the Asian Journal of Sport and Exercise Psychology (AJSEP), and revitalizing the website. Through these endeavours, ASPASP will continue to play an integral role in the development and strengthening of quality research and practice in sport and exercise psychology within and beyond Asia and the South Pacific.
