N2 - This paper is to propose a systematic evaluation for paint messages among C++/CLI controls, e.g., form, button, and picture box. Specifically, the occurrences of such messages and priorities of their processing are investigated to enhance the design of programming models for graphical user interface (GUI). To demonstrate the effectiveness of this approach, those models are progressively integrated with processing paint messages from various controls, in a graphically-demanding C++/CLI project.
