摘要
The mainly purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships among the level of physical activity (PA), standing long jump's pattern, and performance in later childhood. Two hundred and four participants, whose mean age were 10.8 years, were investigated levels of physical activity by the Questionnaire of Physical Activity of Elementary School proposed by Crocker, Bailey, Faulkner, Kowalski, and McGrath (1997), and the movement performance and its pattern of standing long jump (SLJ). SLJ's pattern was evaluated through total body approach, the inter-rater reliability was .81; the intra-rater reliability were .82 and .80. The data was analyzed by Spearman rank correlation. The results showed that: (1) the level of PA was significantly and positively correlated with SLJ's pattern in later childhood (r(subscript s(202))=.20, p<.05), (2) the level of PA was significantly and positively correlated with SLJ's performance in later childhood (r(subscript s(202))=.39, p<.05), (3) the level of SLJ' pattern was significantly and positively correlated with SLJ's performance in later childhood (r(subscript s(202))=.62, p<.05). Habitual physical activity has been shown to have positive effects on SLJ's movement basic elements such as strength, coordination, and flexibility. Therefore, there were three findings: (1) the level of physical activity was an correlated factor of SLJ's pattern, the higher the level of physical activity, the more mature SLJ's pattern, (2) the level of physical activity was an correlated factor of SLJ's performance, the higher the level of physical activity, the better SLJ's performance, and (3) the SLJ's pattern was an correlated factor of SLJ's performance, the more mature SLJ's pattern, the better SLJ's performance.
