專案詳細資料
說明
This study administered questionnaire surveys to 1,001 vocational high school students to ascertain their literacy for energy saving and carbon-emissions reduction and to analyse whether their literacy was affected by gender or academic major. From the data analysis, the following conclusions were reached: (1) Behaviours pertaining to energy saving and carbon-emissions reduction among vocational high school students should be enhanced by promoting appropriate affect, rather than solely by conveying knowledge. (2) Female students display superior knowledge and affect regarding energy saving and carbon-emissions reduction compared with male students, but behavioural aspects require improvement. (3) Students majoring in agriculture exceed other students in knowledge, affect, and behaviour regarding energy saving and carbon-emissions reduction. The execution and results of this study can serve as references for courses or education related to this topic targeting vocational high school students to promote literacy for energy saving and carbon-emissions reduction, thereby increasing their effectiveness on related issues in Taiwan.
