附魔、療癒與邊界生命：跨領域研究

This report is divided into five chapters. The introductory chapter defines the key aspects of research into demonic possession, including symptoms of possession, exorcisms and demonology. It also tackles some religious-theological, psychiatric and psychoanalytic, biopolitical and medical-anthropological perspectives on demonic possession as well as illness, which are elucidated in detail in the following four chapters. The overdetermintions of demonic possession and illness, namely how they are politically, socially and culturally determined and cannot be reduced to any single domain, will be the main concern of this research. By doing, this research aims at more sophisticated ethical understanding of life than from “health” and “curing.”
