父母對青少年子女之同儕攻擊行為的影響：攻擊形式、影響途徑與調節因子之探討

The purpose of this study was to explore the influences of parenting strategies on adolescents’ aggressive behaviors, by examining the direct and indirect pathways of parental behaviors (i.e., psychological and behavioral control), and the ways of influences on different forms of aggression (i.e., physical and relational aggression). The participants were recruited from eight elementary schools from six cities or counties of Taiwan. The total of 363 fifth-graders from 18 classrooms were included. There were four-wave of data collection in two years of study. The main research questions were: (1) Do controlling parenting have direct effects on children’s aggressive behaviors? (2) Does the parent-child relational quality play an indirect role in the relationship between parenting and children’s aggression? The findings showed that paternal, as opposed to maternal, controlling behavior had bigger influence on children’s physical and relational aggression, and paternal psychological control seemed to have unique effect. The negative interactional quality between parents and children mediated the influences of controlling parenting on children’s later aggressive behaviors. The negative interactional quality between mothers and children plays a moderating role in the relationship between maternal psychological control and children’s later aggression.
