專案詳細資料

說明

Manufacturing involves a series of processing operations where adequacy of procedures, tool use, and parameter settings determine the yield and quality of the manufactured product. Hence, correcting erroneous manufacturing methods will be an important part of practical manufacturing training. Hence, this study has employed new and advanced technologies to develop a technical training system that responds to student actions during practical sessions, and attempted to use this system for diagnosing issues encountered during the practical training process. The purposes of this system include enhancing practical problems during training, achieve actual training of technical competences, and encourage students to apply their own creative ideas during practical sessions. A practical operations sensory system developed by the authors of this study was employed to assess student thinking behaviors during actual practical operations and provide students with a learning environment that facilitates elf-reflection. Site operation behavior curves and other acquired by the sensory system would help students identify and understand their own mistakes during practical sessions as well as improper process parameter settings and the time points that these improper settings were used. An investigation was carried out in an actual manufacturing course. Investigation results show that the sensory system will improve the transparency of the learning process during practical operations and provide students with opportunities of self-reflection. System readings allow students to analyze their own learning progress during practical operations and identify the reasons behind their mistakes, deduce and arrive at correct solutions, and undergo repeated review and action cycles to create a final product that includes their own creative elements.
