Abstract

In this study, fcc-Py(100) was fabricated on Cu(100) Si(100). It was found that the magnetization of this epitaxial layer lies on the film plane with easy and hard axes parallel to Py[010], and Py[100], respectively. This uniaxial behavior was attributed to the stress anisotropy that comes from the lattice mismatch.
