Towards automatic image modificiation as an emperical test of image segmentation

Abstract

This paper tests an implementation of the data driven Markov chain Monte Carlo image segmentation procedure used by Tu and Zhu. The test we use is a new emprical test based on the ability of an application to make certain types of modifications to the image based on the segmentation results.
