Abstract

This research used online virtual environment to create and develop a Chinese learning community. The research wanted to know if the community can help the Chinese learners enhance their oral Chinese communication skills, and if community can influence members' behaviors of their Chinese speaking and teaching. The research used action research to find out that virtual environment can provide a community, and this community can enhance learners' Chinese competence, and Chinese teachers' instruction and leading skills.
