Abstract
This study attempted to cultivate the students to apply computational thinking process to solving the problems when the students play the interactive game with the educational robots. The instructional experiment participants were the fifth grader students in Singapore. The educational robots were controlled to interact in Chinese with the block-based programming. The results found that the students made significant progress both in the competence of computational thinking and the proficiency of conditional sentences in Chinses through the game-based learning tasks with robots.
