Abstract

We consider some problems arising when a wireless communication system performance must be assessed in the presence of model uncertainties due to poorly known or unknown dependences of the random variables used to model the channel. We argue that performance bounds based on probability boxes can measure the extent of uncertainty caused by inaccurate models.
