Abstract

We measured the transport properties of a-axis oriented YBa2Cu3Oy/La0.7Ca0.3 MnOy (YBCO/LCMO) multilayers to study the effects of layer coupling on the superconductivity, magnetoresistance and anomalous Hall effects. The decrease of flux pinning in the YBCO/LCMO multilayer causes the diminishing of sign reversal of Hall coefficients. The normal state magnetoresistance was found to depend on the coupling strength of ferromagnetic layers.
