Abstract

The reduction of harmonic in multiobject joint transform correlation was proposed using adaptive mean processing. Comparisons with the binary joint transform correlator and the proposed scheme provided better correlation performance. The hardware implementation was made effective because of the use of amplitude only spatial light modulator (SLM) for displaying the adaptive gray-valued spectrum.
