Abstract
A feedback system is designed and built to automatically correct the long-term instability of the photon beam generated from the synchrotron radiation storage ring. This feedback system is composed of a stepping motor-controlled mirror-alignment mechanism, a photon-beam-position monitor, a high precision current amplifier, and a PC-controlled CAMAC interface system. The details of the system design as well as the motorized mirror-alignment mechanism are presented in this article.
