Optimal integer FIR filtering for colour interpolation

Abstract

Presented is a new and optimal integer finite impulse response (FIR) filtering for interpolating the colour images sampled with the Bayer colour filter array. The new filtering, compared with the conventional one, results in more accurate and satisfying interpolation.
