Abstract

Nursing education includes complex affective education, which requires more interactive and experiential teaching methods. In order to improve learning efficiency, adopting technology assisted learning will be a strategy. This study aimed to develop a course integrating with interactive response systems usage and to evaluate the course satisfaction. The participants were 88 nursing student from five years program of nursing in northern Taiwan. The program was 5 sessions over the course of 5 weeks, and introduces the interactive response systems "Cloud classroom"as a technology-assisted learning platform. The course was different from the traditional course which focuses on knowledge information and skill learning. The results showed that involvement had significant effects on learning motivation. The strongest associations between motivational factors and satisfaction were found for attention, followed by confidence. The results of this study can be used as a reference for nurse educators in the design of related courses.
