Abstract

The longitudinal (ρxx) and transverse resistivities (ρxy) were examined in order to study the effect of flux pinning in the YBa2Cu3Oy/PrBa2Cu3Oy (YBCO/PBCO) superlattices. It was observed that the sign reversal of Hall coefficient RH diminished with a decreasing thickness of the individual YBCO layer or with increasing thickness of the individual PBCO layer. The exponent β in scaling behavior ρxy∼ρβxx is magnetic field dependent and the dependence is stronger for a YBCO/PBCO superlattice with a thinner YBCO layer.
