Abstract
An annulation of phenyl(phenylethynyl)sulfane and N-methoxybenzamides through ruthenium C−H/N−O activation is reported. A wide variety of 4-aryl-3-(aryl/alkylthio)isoquinolin-1(2H)-one derivatives are obtained in moderate to good yields.
