Abstract
The temperature dependence of the Hall resistivity ρxy and the longitudinal resistivity ρxx for the YBCO film, with and without irradiation of O-ions, has been measured near the transition region. It has been observed that the peak value of the negative ρxy increases significantly at 1 tesla, but decreases at 2 and 3 tesla after the irradiation, while ρxx varies in the opposite direction with the field. We have calculated the Hall conductivity σxy based on the data of ρxx and ρxy, and have correlated the variation of σxy with that of the negative ρxy.
