Abstract

This chapter offers an overview of the book “China’s Belt and Road Initiative in a Global Context: A Business and Management Perspective” which comprises interdisciplinary chapters on BRI focusing on topics as diverse as macro-economy, business environment and strategy, cross-cultural management, human resource management, finance, trade, logistics and supply chain, history, and diplomacy. It also provides a discussion of socioeconomic, human capital and infrastructure diversity, convergence, and opportunities along the Belt and Road.
