Abstract

This study developed an interactive game of axles upon Augmented Reality. Using different force positions, the game design includes two scientific concepts, which are "time-consuming and easy-to-use" and "time-saving and difficult-to-use", of axles. In order to match the characteristic of game, the game situation was designed by drawing water from the well. By using video camera of reasonable prices and writing valid video program, the interaction was enhanced by using a large number of marks ofARToolkit and Kinect sensory system with interface of expensive images. Interactive game developed by this study can be applied to instruction of characteristics of axle and popular science activities. It will certainly enhance learning effectiveness.
