Abstract
The study aimed to examine the moderated mediation model for the influencing factors of adult assessors' behavioral performance in online assessment (OA). The participants included 200 graduate students from a university seminar course utilizing an OA system. The results indicate that OA continuance intention fully mediates the relationships between the three antecedents (i.e., OA attitude, OA subjective norm, and perceived OA behavioral control) and OA behavioral performance. OA experience positively moderates the relationship between OA continuance intention and OA behavioral performance, and further moderates the mediating effect of OA continuance intention between OA attitude and OA behavioral performance, indicating a moderated mediation effect. This study expands the perspective and applicability of the theory of planned behavior (TPB) and provides practical implications for online peer assessment.
