Abstract

Intrazeolite copper dicyanoanthraquinone diimines were synthesized within NaY zeolite using a "ship-in-a-bottle" technique. IR absorption spectra confirmed the formation of Cu-DCNAQI in NaY. The compound material not only showed high stability against photocorrosion during IR irradiation but also exhibited remarkable sensitivity to hydrogen with negligible interference from exygen.
