Abstract

The core technology of visible light gaze tracking (VLGT) system is the determination of iris contour (limbus circle) on the eye image. In this paper, we proposed a hierarchical search scheme for the matching between the ellipse models and the iris contour on the eye image. The experimental results show the proposed hierarchical search scheme efficiently matches the rotating models of human eyes with the limbus circle on an input image.
