Abstract

This paper aims to develop a real-Time visible-spectrum gaze tracker (VSGT). Unlike traditional infra-red gaze trackers that detect the pupil center, a VSGT determines the viewing direction by locating the limbus circle in the eye images. However, the process of matching the limbus circle can take longer due to the optimization of a set of parameters based on ellipse models. In this paper, we propose a dedicated hardware engine designed to find the best match among all possible candidates for the limbus circles.
