Abstract

In this paper, we propose a hardware engine that performs real-time pixel interpolation and fast drives the plotted pixels to the black state for the electropheretic display. The experimental results show that the engine can finish the evaluation of pixel interpolation in 2 ms, such that the latency of pen tracking is much shorter than the previous approaches with software control schemes.
