Abstract

This study describes three-dimensional color object recognition by multi-wavelength phase-shifting digital holography based on graphic processing unit (GPU). The efficiency of the calculation is evaluated and compared to a central processing unit (CPU) based implementation. The GPU-based approach can provide up to several hundred times calculation speedup for 512*512 pixels size of digital holograms.
