Abstract
In this paper, using bacterial foraging algorithm to adjust the parameters of fuzzy model is presented, and utilizing the fuzzy model designs an feedback controller for servo motors with voltage regulators. The procedure of the bacterial foraging algorithm simulates the movement of an E.coli bacterium through swimming and tumbling in problem search space in order to find the optimal solution. For effectively and online tuning the fuzzy model, the bacterial foraging algorithm is simplified and adapted to the design of controllers. Besides, the servo motor experiment and simulation results prove the feasibility and applicability of the proposed method.
