Abstract

Recently, we have proposed s + g-wave superconductor in order to describe unusual superconductivity in borocarbides YNi2B2C and LuNi2B2C. Here we consider the effect of impurity scattering in the s + g-wave superconductors. The impurity scattering is studied within Born approximation. We find that the quasiparticle density of states is extremely sensitive to the small impurity scattering.
