Abstract
Two inequivalent SO-4 centers have been detected by ESR in gamma-irradiated K3Na(SO4)2 crystals at room temperature. One of the SO-4 centers has the principal g-values of 2.009, 2.005, and 2.020, and is judged to be associated with a local Na+-vacancy. The other SO-4 center which has the principal g-values of 2.003, 2.009, and 2.041 is judged to be associated with a local K+(2)-vacancy.
