Abstract

We prepared the YBa2Cu3Oy films onto the SrTiO3(001) substrates in an off-axis RF magnetron sputtering system. The powder X-ray diffraction showed that the films were c-axis epitaxially oriented. Measurements of both the longitudinal resistivities and the Hall resistivities for the YBa2Cu3Oy films as a function of temperature for various J and B are shown. We found that, for the same Lorentz force J × B with different J and B, neither ρxx-T nor ρxy-T curves would follow the same trace in the mixed state. How the transport current density affecting the longitudinal and Hall resistivities behavior was investigated in this work.
