Abstract
The dielectric properties of xBa(Mg1/3Ta2/3)O 3-(1 - x)Ba(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3 (x = 1, 0.75, 0.50, 0.25 and 0, BMT-BMN) ceramics were investigated. The mode-frequency shift correlates well with the monotonic decrease of the real part of the dielectric constant of these materials with decreasing BMN concentration in the 0.1-0.6 THz range. The imaginary part of the dielectric constant is unaffected by substitution of Ta for Nb in BMT-BMN materials in 0.1-0.6 THz range.
