Abstract
This paper presents a robust signal processing pipeline for three-dimensional (3-D) stereoscopic cameras. Given a pair of images captured by dual cameras, the pipeline performs the image plane calibration, depth map estimation, and multiple views rendering to produce a 3-D picture. The illusion of the object distance in the image is created by multiple views of image and equipped with a lenticular sheet. The proposed approach has been implemented and verified by several camera modules. Very promising visual quality can be achieved with the proposed signal processing pipeline.
