Abstract
CP violation in nonleptonic exclusive two-body decays of B mesons without final-state charm particles are studied. For charged B mesons, we consider those rare decay modes which have effectively only one single isospin component so that the final-state-interaction phase is dynamically generated from the timelike penguin diagrams that can be more reliably calculated. Various mechanisms responsible for the CP-violating asymmetry in the neutral B decay are elaborated.
