Control parameters for the tunable refractive index of magnetic fluid films

    Abstract

    The control parameters for the tunable refractive index of magnetic fluid films were analyzed. It was found that the variation in the refractive index of the magnetic fluid film with rising field strength was enhanced by increasing either the concentration or the film thickness. The results reveal the ways to control the tunable refractive index of magnetic fluid films.
