Abstract

This mini-review covers the systematic survey of our previous research on chromium- and manganesecontaining chalcogenide clusters in terms of synthetic strategies, reactivities, and special properties. In addition, mixed chromium-manganese carbonyl chalcogenide clusters were also synthesized rationally via several facile routes, which resulted in the generation of a series of mixed-metal clusters possessing expanded frameworks with enhanced electrochemical and magnetic properties.
